Beaminster Town Hall

This bi-annual arts exhibition has always played an important and significant part in the festival’s programme of events showing off, as it does, the depth of artistic talent that abounds in this inspirational area.

Our handsome Town Hall, built in 1902, provides the town with an excellent space for community events. The festival transforms it into a bright and delightful gallery in which painting, sculpture, ceramic, textile and photographic art are all displayed.

The artists whose work we are exhibiting all live in and around West Dorset and their collective work will not fail to both impress and please the viewer. There will also be racks of unframed work and prints together with work by Beaminster School’s art students plus a marvellous display in the Cowie Room created specially for the Exhibition by Beaminster Playgroup.
